Ana Salomão

Ana is an educator, researcher,
and facilitator of creative processes.
Founder of verase, she has developed throughout her journey pedagogical and social projects focused on the integral development of children and young people in Brazil,
the United States, Egypt, and Germany.

Across cultures and diverse experiences, moved by the challenges and possibilities of dialogue, my role has always been to strengthen the forces of collective intelligence by fostering reflection, encouraging the formulation of meaningful questions, facilitating collaborative processes, and contributing to the creation of purpose-driven strategies and initiatives.

As I navigated different places and contexts, I came to understand that a group formed to reflect and create collaboratively is capable of seeing itself, being seen, cultivating healthy relationships, and generating new realities that help overcome the challenges perceived.

There is something vibrant within me that questions the effects of ambiguity on the way we were educated and on how we educate today.

And so, I continue seeking an integrated, interdisciplinary, and free form of knowledge, guided by the questions of education, which are like the questions of consciousness.

Through my studies in Anthroposophy and Waldorf education, I have encountered a lasting engagement that has opened an irreversible path toward a deeper understanding of the human being and of the educational task carried out together with children and young people, families, and entire communities.

I increasingly perceive that my work involves a task of sensitization and empowerment, creating space to weave connections between different forms of rationality, perception, and ways of thinking. All of this in service of a purpose through which more conscious actions can gain ground and sustainability in relationships and in the world.
